Recently completed a PhD in Economic Geology at the University of Nevada, Reno. The PhD project centered on constraining the timing and depth of formation and exhumation of a gold deposit within a rock package associated with a metamorphic core complex. In order to constrain the ages of the various events (metamorphism, hydrothermal alteration and exhumation), a variety of geo- and thermo-chronologic methods were applied including; U/Pb (apatite and zircon), AFT, (U-Th)/He and 40Ar/39Ar.

Currently managing exploration for mineral resources in northern Nevada. Utilizing field mapping observations and data, married with geophysical interpretation and logged drill data, I assist with developing models for possible tectonic setting and mineralized zones. Using ArcGIS and Leapfrog, I generate digital geologic maps with geophysics, soils and other comprehensive data incorporated. I also manage the ArcGIS database for all data collected on current projects.
